Modular units are becoming a solid asset in the UZ Leuven healthcare project.
A safe and efficient reception area for contractors and suppliers on the UZ Leuven campus.
UZ Leuven is investing in the further expansion of its hospital campus in the coming years. A project of this scale requires not only new care infrastructure but also a site organization that maximally supports the daily operations of the hospital. While patients, visitors, caregivers, suppliers, and contractors move around the same campus daily, safety, accessibility, and continuity must be guaranteed at all times.
The expansion will be carried out in phases over several years, which means that the supporting site infrastructure must grow along with the various construction phases.
To ensure that construction traffic flows safely and controlled, a central contractors' village has been established on the campus. As part of this, Algeco has realized 6 Fire X units that serve as a reception area for contractors, suppliers, and visitors to the site. This solution contributes to an efficient site operation without disrupting care activities.
